I'm curious and passionate about many things and these loves manifest in what I do. First and foremost, I'm an executive life coach. I am also a strategic marketing consultant, experience designer, and an educator and storyteller.

My fascination with China began in part from rebellion against pressure to pursue studies in Japanese, the cultural legacy of my mother's side of the family. I studied Chinese with the great author, Dr. Bai Xian Yong at UC Santa Barbara and continued language studies at Beijing University, the Stanford Center at Taiwan University, and The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington DC where I earned my Masters in China Studies and international economics.

After seven years living abroad in China and Taiwan, I returned to the U.S. a different person than when I had left. A TV show called Warrior, inspired by the writings of Bruce Lee, prompted me to create an Airbnb Experience walking tour exploring the history of the Chinese immigrant experience and the origins of San Francisco Chinatown.

This tour received 100% 5-star reviews until Covid -19 sent us all into lockdown. Unable to run in-person tours, I partnered with a San Francisco-based non-profit theater company, Awesome Theater, to create a one-hour video version.

This went surprisingly viral in SF Chinatown and beyond and led me to meet Cynthia Yee, founder of SF Chinatown Ghost Tours, Grant Avenue Follies, and Chinatown Magic Productions, former Miss San Francisco Chinatown, award-winning performer, dancer, creator and producer of films, events and experiences.

Ours is a partnership born from serendipity, synergies, and a shared dream to co-create and contribute to Chinatowns' emerging future. What a time to be alive in the world!
